Privacy policy.
Short version: we collect what you type into the service request form so we can call you back, and we measure how the site is used. We do not sell anything to anybody.

Who we are
McElroys Complete Auto Repair, 2104 S. 6th Ave., Tucson, AZ 85713. Phone (520) 623-1921. Email Mcelroysautorepair@yahoo.com.
What the service request form collects
If you fill in the form on the service request page, we receive what you typed: your name, phone number, email address if you give one, your vehicle's year, make, model and mileage, the service you need, how urgent it is, whether the vehicle is drivable, when and how you would like to be contacted, whether you prefer English or Spanish, and whatever you write in the description box.
We use it to call you back about your vehicle. That is the whole purpose. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone except the services listed below that are needed to deliver the message.
Submissions arrive as email at the address above and are also stored by our website host so we do not lose one if an email bounces.
Services this site relies on
Running a website means a few other companies see some data. Here is the full list and what each one gets.
- Netlify hosts the site and processes the form. Like any web host it records the IP address and browser of each visit in its server logs.
- Google reCAPTCHA checks the form for bots. Google receives data about your browser and behaviour on that page to make that decision. Without it the form would be buried in spam.
- Google Analytics tells us which pages people read and whether they call or fill in the form. It sets cookies and records a shortened version of your IP address. We see totals and trends, not individuals.
- Google Maps is embedded on the contact page so you can get directions. It loads only when you scroll to it, and it sets its own cookies when it does.
We do not run advertising, retargeting or social media pixels on this site.
Cookies
The only cookies this site sets are the Google Analytics ones described above, plus any set by the Google Maps embed once it loads. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on, and the site will work exactly the same.
How long we keep it
Form submissions are kept as long as they are useful for servicing your vehicle and our records. Analytics data is deleted automatically after 14 months.
Getting your information removed
Call (520) 623-1921 or email Mcelroysautorepair@yahoo.com and ask. Tell us roughly when you contacted us so we can find it. We will delete what we are not required to keep.
Children
This site is for people booking vehicle repairs and is not directed at children.
