Our Story

From a 1927 tire shop to a Tucson institution.

McElroys opened in 1927 as a neighborhood tire shop on South 6th Avenue, making us one of the oldest continuously operating auto repair shops in Tucson. Nearly a century later we're still at the same address, with the same name and the same promise — honest work, fair prices, done right.

Today, Dago, Brenda, Chris, Anthony, Pedro, Zander and the team welcome every customer like family. Many of them are — three generations of South Tucson families have trusted us with their cars.
